Question No. 21 1 min read

What flooring is outdated?

Cool grey planks, high-gloss finishes, orange and red-toned wood stains, small-format beige ceramic tile, and thin laminate with an obvious repeating grain pattern all read as dated now. So does a different flooring material in every room. None of that means a sound floor must be replaced. A worn hardwood floor can often be sanded and refinished in a current tone for a fraction of the cost of replacing it.
