Last updated August 13, 2026. These terms cover the use of the Flooring Experts Calgary website and the information published on it. They do not replace the written scope and agreement for any individual flooring project.

Using this website

This website is published by Flooring Experts Calgary, 4440 14 St NW, Calgary, AB T2K 1J5. You may read, print and share its pages for your own use in planning flooring work. The text, page structure, layout and brand marks belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.

We try to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or current at any given moment. Product specifications, market prices and regulations all change, and pages are updated periodically rather than continuously.

Prices, estimates and agreements

Every price on this website is approximate. The published ranges and the cost calculator exist so you can budget early and sanity-check any quote you receive, including ours. They are planning figures, not quotes, and they do not bind either side.

A real number comes from a site visit: measured dimensions, the specific product you choose, the condition of the subfloor or slab, and the preparation the job actually needs. That number appears in a written scope. Only that written scope, once both sides have accepted it, forms the agreement, and where anything on this website conflicts with it, the written scope governs.

Requesting an estimate places you under no obligation, and we take no payment before a written scope is approved.

Warranties and guarantees

Any workmanship guarantee, warranty or remedy is agreed case by case for the individual project and recorded in that project's written scope. What is covered, for how long and subject to what conditions depends on the service performed, the product installed, the substrate underneath it, how the floor is maintained, and the manufacturer's own warranty terms.

Manufacturer warranties on flooring products are given by the manufacturer, not by us, and most set conditions on installation method, subfloor preparation, acclimation and aftercare. Nothing on this website, in any published range, or in any photograph creates a warranty of any kind.

Photographs and finished appearance

The photographs on this site serve an illustrative purpose first. They show the type of work each page describes. They are not presented as a portfolio of jobs we completed, and they should not be relied on as a promise of how a finished floor will look.

Real floors vary. Wood grain and colour differ board to board and batch to batch, tile varies by shade lot, carpet varies by dye lot, and every screen renders colour differently. Sample approval in the actual room, under its own lighting, is the only reliable way to judge appearance before ordering.

Limits and other trades

Information published here is general guidance about flooring in Calgary and the surrounding area. It is not an inspection, a specification or professional advice for your property, and it should not be used as a substitute for on-site assessment.

Some work adjoining a flooring project belongs to other regulated trades. Electrical connections are made by a licensed electrician. Asbestos identification and removal is a licensed abatement trade. Structural, permit and code matters rest with the property owner or the general contractor. We describe those boundaries plainly rather than implying we cover them.

To the extent the law allows, our liability arising from use of this website is limited, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta.

We may revise these terms. The version published here applies from the last updated date shown above. This page is general information and is not legal advice.
