Question No. 01 1 min read

How long does it take to lay 1000 sq ft of flooring?

For a floating laminate or vinyl plank floor in cleared, straightforward rooms, roughly two to three working days for 1,000 square feet. Nail-down or glue-down hardwood typically runs three to five days. Tile takes longer again, because setting and grouting have to cure between stages. Those figures assume the old floor is already out and the subfloor needs no correction. Removal, levelling, stairs, furniture, occupied rooms and complex layouts all add time, and they are the usual reason a schedule slips.
