Question No. 06 1 min read

Is Costco flooring cheaper than Home Depot?

Sometimes, on the material. Costco's membership model and narrow, high-volume range can price well, while Home Depot carries a far wider selection with more frequent promotions. Neither comparison means much until you compare installed quotes rather than shelf prices, because the differences that matter sit in what the installation includes: existing floor removal and disposal, subfloor preparation and levelling, transitions, trim and baseboard work, furniture moving, and who is responsible if something fails. A lower square-foot price with preparation excluded is not actually cheaper.
