Question No. 04 1 min read

How much does it cost to install 1000 sq ft of hardwood floors in Canada?

Our Calgary planning range is 6 to 15 dollars per square foot installed, so roughly 6,000 to 15,000 Canadian dollars for 1,000 square feet. The spread is that wide because hardwood covers solid and engineered products at very different price points, across species, grades and widths that vary enormously. Add removal and disposal of the existing floor, subfloor correction, and stair or transition work where they apply. If the existing hardwood is sound, refinishing at 3 to 7 dollars per square foot is the cheaper path.
