How a Free Flooring Quote Works
A free flooring quote from Flooring Experts Calgary takes three steps: you send the rooms, we measure on site, and you get a written estimate.
- Send the rooms. Use the form, email or call (587) 324-2207 with the rooms, rough sizes, what is on the floor now and photos if you have them.
- We measure on site. Every visit is booked in advance. We measure each room, check the subfloor or slab for flatness, squeaks and moisture, and look at stairs, transitions and doors.
- You get a written estimate. Removal, subfloor preparation, materials, installation, transitions and trim are listed as separate lines, so you can compare it line by line with any other quote.

Details That Make a Flooring Quote Useful
Start with the property location and the rooms involved. Measure every room separately and include closets, halls, landings and stairs. A single total square footage can hide small-space labour, extra seams, material direction and transition points. Note whether the property is occupied and which rooms must remain accessible.
Describe the existing surface as accurately as possible. Carpet, floating plank, glued vinyl, hardwood, tile and coated concrete have different removal and preparation implications. If the substrate is known, include that information. Mention soft spots, squeaks, cracks, loose tiles, water history or visible uneven areas without trying to diagnose the cause.
If a material has been selected, provide the manufacturer and collection. Otherwise, explain the priority: natural wood, resilient upkeep, a rigid tiled surface, softness, refinishing, or a coated concrete floor. The service overview can help name the category before the form is completed.
Mention related work that can change access or sequence, such as cabinet installation, painting, baseboard replacement or appliance moves. Flooring dates should be coordinated with those tasks after the material and preparation requirements are known.

Subfloor flatness, moisture, bond conditions and hidden damage often require a closer look before final preparation can be priced.

Photos of the whole room, current floor, transitions, stairs and visible damage can clarify the initial scope, although an on-site review may still be needed.
Can I ask about several flooring types?
Yes. List the rooms and candidate materials separately so the response can distinguish hardwood, vinyl, tile, carpet, epoxy or refinishing needs.
