Question No. 30 1 min read

What is the number one selling flooring?

Luxury vinyl plank. LVP has been the most-installed flooring in new North American homes for several years running, and rigid-core versions now make up the bulk of that category. It sells because it handles moisture, resists scratching, costs less than hardwood and installs over most existing subfloors. In Calgary it carries an extra advantage: it does not shrink and gap the way solid wood does when indoor humidity falls below 30 per cent through a dry chinook winter. Best-selling is not the same as best for your room, though.
